RAIT Financial Trust Bankruptcy

On August 30, 2019, the firm filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. Earlier this year, the firm delayed its earnings reports, perhaps a sign of the recent bankruptcy filing. RAIT was responsible for managing over $1.5 billion in assets. Following the bankruptcy, reports say that RAIT is planning to sell all of its assets to Fortress Investment Group as part of a reorganization.
