Former Invest Financial Corp. Broker Charged with Felony Offenses for Taking a Loan from an Elderly Client
Roger Kroeger, a former financial advisor at Invest Financial Corporation, has been charged with multiple felony offenses in connection with allegations about facilitating a loan to his sister from a senior client.
“It is horrible that Mr. Kroeger has allegedly abused his fiduciary duty to an elderly client by facilitating a loan to his own sister – that can be a form of elder abuse, in my opinion,” said Jeffrey Sonn, Esq., a national securities fraud attorney at Sonn Law Group.
Sonn Law Group is investigating Roger Kroeger and Invest Financial Corp. in connection these serious allegations of wrongdoing, and whether Mr. Kroeger improperly took loans or engaged other wrongful conduct with other clients.
“It goes without saying that financial advisors like Mr. Kroeger are barred from taking loans from their own clients, for any purpose,” Sonn added. If you have information about Roger Kroeger, please contact Jeffrey Sonn at Sonn Law Group in Miami
