DRIVE PLANNING PONZI SCHEME UPDATE, RECEIVER APPOINTED

A Federal Court Judge in Atlanta, Georgia has appointed a Receiver for Drive Planning. A receiver is an officer of the court, appointed to manage and protect property and business interests subject to litigation. In this case, the court appointed Kenneth Murena as receiver for Drive Planning. This means Mr. Murena will take control of Drive Planning’s bank accounts, real estate, and other assets. Mr. Murena, as receiver, will also be able to file lawsuits to “claw back” fraudulent transfers, that is, money or property transferred from Drive Planning to third parties where no consideration was given. Once the receiver has completed a review of all investor claims to certify the amount of each investor claims, and after all assets and litigation to recover assets has concluded, the Receiver will be empowered to pay money back to the victims, with Court approval.
