INVESTORS: Merrill Lynch broker Adam Jesse Gurien was named in a customer dispute alleging misrepresentation and unsuitability.

Adam Jesse Gurien (CRD: 2302341) is registered as a broker and investment adviser with Merrill Lynch, where he’s been employed since 2011. Previously, Gurien was registered as a broker and investment adviser with Wells Fargo from 2001 until 2011.

Gurien has five disclosures on his BrokerCheck report. Three customer disputes filed against Gurien were denied.

Allegations: Retired NJ resident claims FA made unsuitable investments in an IRA, a rollover 401(K) and individual accounts. Claimant alleges FA placed the majority of her assets in high risk equity funds and variable annuities which she claims idd not meet her conservative objectives or her need for income. Alleged events occurred from 1999-2001. Claims damages of $250,000.00.

Settlement Amount: $1,500.00
