christopher-lee-hibbard-pleads-guiltyChristopher Lee Hibbard entered a plea of guilty on one count of investment advisor fraud and nine counts of wire fraud in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Kentucky on June 30, 2020. Hibbard will be sentenced on October 14, 2020.

Hibbard was accused in 2018 of participating in a $4.4 million investment fraud scheme.

Sonn Law has represented multiple victims of Hibbard. Jeffrey Sonn stated, “a financial advisor occupies a fiduciary duty to their customers to always act in their best interests. Whenever they abuse that relationship of trust and steal from their customer, they should receive a harsh sentence to send a message to all financial advisors that if you steal, you will serve a long jail sentence, in my opinion.”
