Daniel Saur (CRD#: 2424518) was a registered representative for Kalos Capital in Dallas, Texas from April 2008 until December 2019. Saur was named in three customer disputes over the span of his career. 

January 2017 Customer Dispute

• Allegations: Client alleges inadequate due diligence, recommendations were not suitable, and Kalos did not supervise registered rep.

December 2017 Customer Dispute

• Allegations: Claimants allege unsuitable recommendations, fraud, and failure to supervise.
• Damage Amount Requested: $500,000.01
• Broker Comment: All allegations are denied. Client does not account for distributions received from investments as well as current market value of the investments. Neither Dan Saur nor D.R. November 2015 Customer Dispute

• Allegations: Client purchased life settlement contracts between November 23, 2009 ($90,000) and January 8, 2010 ($9,330). Client alleges sale of non-registered securities products.
• Damage Amount Requested: $100,001.00
• Settlement Amount: $87,194.80
• Broker Comment: The Registered Representative denies the claim as federal and state law unequivocally stated, at the time of the sale, that the product was not a security, and thus properly characterized as an outside business activity under NASD Rule 3030. The registered rep settled by purchasing the product back from the client.
