Michael Bastardi (CRD#: 6015424) is a previously registered broker for Securities America who has been barred from FINRA in May 2019 for failure to provide FINRA with requested information.

Bastardi has six years of industry experience with five investment firms including Chelsea Financial Services (2018), National Securities Corp. (2026–2018), Securities America (2014–2016), Dalton Strategic Investment Services (2012–2014) and Cape Securities Inc. (2012).

Bastardi was involved in 3 customer disputes. In 2015, while with Cape Securities, a client accused Bastardi of making unsuitable trades and churning transactions with requested damages of $45,000. The case was settled.

While also with Cape Securities, Bastardi was accused of churning and unsuitability in 2012 in the amount of nearly $200,000. This case went to arbitration and was settled.

In September, 2018, Securities America disclosed that Mr. Bastardi was the subject of a customer complaint alleging he had “engaged in unsuitable margin trading, unauthorized trading, fraud and forgery” between 2012 and 2014 when he was registered through Dalton Strategic Investment Services, and at Securities America, resulting in damages of approximately $250,000.
