- Broker Comment: “Clients are sophisticated, knowledgeable, accredited investors that we have had a thirteen year relationship. They have had no issues with any of their other investments to date and have singled out the one that has not lived up to their expectations. There were no guarantees made to the clients that no loss of principal could occur and a discussion of risks vs. return was discussed. The client was provided with the prospectus and signed documents acknowledging the risks inherit with this investment.
January 2016 Customer Dispute

- Allegations: “Claimants allege unsuitability, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract, common law fraud, negligent supervision and violation of California Securities Act.”
- Settlement Amount: $35,000.00
- Broker Comment: “The registered representative denies the allegations in the statement of claim. The positions identified within the complaint were purchased prior to me inheriting the account. I am working to have myself removed from this arbitration since these positions were inherited and the transactions were authorized by and suitable for the client based on the client’s stated objectives.
June 1992 Criminal Disposition
- Status: Final Disposition
- Charges: Charged with a misdemeanor for 1 count petty theft. THe charge was dismissed 1/25/93. I was at the mall with some recruits from college, some of us were trying on clothes while others held our purses. When we walked out of the store the security guard stopped us and searched our purses where they found some hair ties. Someone that was holding my purse must have put them in there, I was just looking at the hair ties and decided not to get any. I was told that the charges would be dismissed the judge sent me to a class on not stealing and all charges were dismissed. Should be expunged from my record.
- Broker Comment: See above.
