Broker Comment: The Client invested in a fixed rate product offered by Northstar Financial Services (Bermuda) LTD. The product was suitable for the client and thoroughly and accurately disclosed to her. Subsequent to the client’s purchase, the issuer was acquired by another company and the principal of that company was later charged with and convicted of wire fraud and bribery. These subsequent events, which were not foreseeable, are the reason the product has been negatively affected.
