Neil James Buono, Formerly of Taylor Capital, Barred by FINRA Following Allegations of Forging Client Signatures

Buono was barred after refusing to appear for on-the-record testimony requested by FINRA.

FINRA requested the testimony in connection with its investigation into whether he forged the signatures of customers on variable annuity applications and submitted them to his member firm for processing without his customers’ knowledge or consent. Buono is prohibited from associating with any FINRA member firm beginning on September 21, 2020.
