INVESTORS: Emerson Equity broker Tony Barouti was named in a customer dispute alleging losses in customer accounts.

Tony Barouti (CRD#: 4440958) is being investigated regarding GWG Holdings L Bonds, a high-yield junk bond, according to Erez Law. Barouti reportedly was featured on a radio show that targeted Iranian Americans and that he recommended these high-risk bonds as secure, safe, and low-risk.

Barouti has been registered as a broker with Emerson Equity, LLC since 2017. Previously, Barouti was registered as a broker with First Heartland Capital from 2014 until 2017.
