Sonn Law Group is currently representing several Colombian clients in FINRA arbitration claims against Merrill Lynch in connection with former Merrill Lynch broker Giancarlo Ciocca. Giancarlo Ciocca is no longer employed by Merrill Lynch. In April 2011, Merrill Lynch conducted an internal review of Giancarlo Ciocca and determined that he “placed unauthorized trades”, “diverted client’s statements, and “provided fraudulent account statements”. We have also determined that Giancarlo Ciocca engaged in this wrongful conduct in connection with many accounts he was servicing. Giancarlo Ciocca caused our clients significant losses by gambling on ETFs including leveraged and inverse ETFS. He regularly engaged in unauthorized trading. There are at present at least four pending FINRA cases against Merrill Lynch seeking damages for the wrongful actions of Giancarlo Ciocca.
If you are a former client of Giancarlo Ciocca, please contact our firm for a free consultation. All conversations are confidential. You may be entitled to recover your losses through a FINRA arbitration. Sonn Law Group is a nationally recognized securities litigation firm that handles cases on a contingency fee basis.
