Former Morgan Stanley broker Michael Barry Carter (CRD#: 3232017) has been barred from the brokerage industry by FINRA for refusing to furnish documents and information around his alleged theft of client funds.

Morgan Stanley terminated Carter in July 2019 after an internal investigation revealed alleged misappropriation of funds, according to his BrokerCheck report.

FINRA records state Carter had 18 years of industry experience, most recently with Morgan Stanley of McLean, VA (2011–2019); Ameriprise Financial of Vienna, VA (2011–2011); and Morgan Stanley of Vienna, VA (2006–2011).

Carter has no other disclosures in his FINRA record.
