Scott Andersen (CRD# 4412679) is a currently registered broker and investment advisor. Since 2006, Mr. Andersen has been a registered representative with Wedbush Securities, based in Roseville, California.

According to his BrokerCheck report, Mr. Andersen is the subject of both a civil complaint and a customer dispute for arbitration. The civil complaint, filed on February 5, 2019, alleges conversion and fraud. The customer dispute, filed on May 31, 2019, also alleges conversion and fraud and is requesting $400,000 in damages.

Mr. Andersen’s employee profile lists annuities as one of his specializations, along with several other securities including stocks and mutual funds. Annuities are often recommended by brokers because of the commissions they generate. Many annuities, however, are complicated and risky, making them unsuitable for many investors.

Prior to his registration with Wedbush, Mr. Andersen was employed by Morgan Stanley, with whom he started a career in 2001.
